Prelude to "Football Manifesto"

IT ALL BEGINS WITH THE FORMAL STUDY OF THE DISCIPLINE CALLED FOOTBALL. FORMAL STUDIES WITH THE RIGHT USAGE OF LANGUAGE TO MEAN A SOCIAL REPERCUSION AND UNDERSTANDING.

A primeval approach made by Liverpol FC Captain.

'I am very proud to become a fellow of Liverpool John Moores University(...) Not only has LJMU done so much for this city and the people of Liverpool but it has given the science of football international credibility and it is an honour to be recognised with this award'.

Sack him!

I have to say that the recent declarations of EURO 2008 winner Cesc Fabregas have increaased my desire to see William Gllas either, out of the squad or giving the armband.
After a tremendously dissapointing performance with his home side in the last EURO we could see that his ability to lead is minimun while his tantrums reign over what will be suppossed to be a calmed mind. But his performance in the last EPL season was really mixed. He seemed a very focused defender. With the help of Touré the Center-back couple at the Grove was fantastic, added to the reliable performances of Clichy and Sagna. But the melee with Adebayor increased the anger. Nobody in his/her fine judgment will shout at a player who is, as well as the sub, trying to do his best. Bendtner has been seen as the 'Bad Boy' in this situtation but it was Gallas, who in his impossibility of leadering, could not handle the situation. Then the Birmingham incident happened. In that game he proved unfit to captain a squad. With Silva sold and a reluctant Touré unwilling to take lead it seems that the weight of the North London club lies in the shoulders of the 21 year old Spaniard. Nearly a home-grown player he could fill the gap of leadership in the Arsenal.
Today we saw the announcement of our newest and most likely last signing. Unlike Samir Nasri, who I have been watching in detail, the name of Amaury Bischoff is completey unknown to me. I hope this new signining approaches the level that Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto had once upon a time. The 2008/2009 season reviews will begin with the Arsenal v. Juventus in the context of the Emirates Cup on Saturday. As you may know dear reader, previous games have not been reviwed due to the absence of broadcast in my country.

Finally I have to add that this blog had reached 1,000 visits last Sunday. I appreciate all the people who has visited, even by mistake this page, and read the content of this humble site. I will continue o improve it in every aspect and a comment or two would be very welcomed. Thanks to everybody. Although the mark of a thousend clicks is far from he standards of The Cannon od Arseblog this blog has a different approach, which I think its welcomed among the Gunner comunity. It has beeen nine months since this adventure began and in the twelfth I will have a special post commemorating the creation of this humble space.
Thanks again.

"Machin" and "Creación"

I have recently watched the so-promised clips from one of my best friends. It turned out to be a quite pleasant activity due to my affinities to the subjects and the fact that I can bound emotionally to them. But in more objective point of view I really liked a lot the clips specially this two. Enjoy!

btw-moiseszy is the creator, just youtube it if you are interested dear reader.

Mexican Weekend Football

Finally the EPL is one week to kick-off. But meanwhile every person can have a little amusement regarding the footy. Actually I wanted to make this line-up earlier in the past season but recent events had led to a good list now. The following starting XI is a consideration of the best Mexican youngsters in the National game. I do not intend to meant it as a recomendation to Mr. Ericksson but it is truly my choice of like.
GK-Jorge Villalpando (Puebla FC)
CB-Patricio Araujo (CD Guadalajara), Iván Estrada (Santos CF)
LB & RB-Adrián Aldrete(CM Morelia), Omar Esparza(CD Guadalajara)
CDMF-Alan Zamora (Atlante FC)
RMF & LMF-Fernando Morales(Pumas UNAM), Édgar Castillo (Santos CF)
CF-Édgar Andrade(CD Cruz Azul)
LS & RS-Omar Arellano(CD Guadalajara), Ever Guzmán (CM Morelia)

I have to say that the Pumas style has improved. I doubt the fact that it can be the contribution of the Manager but it is actually based on the younsters which pump the team. The style that the Capitaline side has displayed is similar to the one by the "Boring, Boring Arsenal".

The stunner striker of the week is Omar Arellano.
